Your tan should last about 7–10 days but will be affected by how you take care of your skin. Make sure to use a quality moisturizer after showering to keep your skin hydrated. Drinking plenty of water also helps to keep your skin hydrated and healthy. You will want to avoid shaving and exfoliating the first 3–5 days after you get your spray tan as well.

No! The spray tanning industry has come so far! There is nothing worse than having a bad experience with spray tanning. My goal is to give you a flawless, never orange or streaky color—just a healthy, sunkissed glow. There are many factors that can affect your spray tan; the skill of the technician, the quality of solution, your skin condition, proper preparation, as well as the quality of products used on your skin after your spray tan. Not all spray tan technicians are created equal, and here at Glow On Girl, we are certified and trained. Only salon-quality solutions are used, as well as quality skin care products for use after your spray tan. We also take pride in educating our customers on the process and what they can expect and how to care for their tan afterwards.

Yes! Spray tanning has been proven to be safe while pregnant. As a mother to three children, I spray tanned throughout all three of my pregnancies. However, if you are concerned or worried about spray tanning while pregnant, or if you have had complications throughout your pregnancy, please consult your physician.

All the more reason to spray tan! This is what spray tanning was designed for. Fair-skinned tanners are typically the most satisfied with the outcome. Nothing better then taking someone very fair and making them look and feel like a million bucks with a healthy, radiant tan!

This is the beauty of a customized spray tan! Everyone's skin develops at its own individual color. Some people go for a natural glow, while others prefer a deep, dark tan. We will discuss your skin tone and complexion and choose a formula that's perfect for you.

Excellent question! If you will be getting a manicure, pedicure, facial, or any body waxing done, it is best to have those services done 24 hours prior to coming in for a spray tan. Spray tanning should be one of the last beauty services you do when getting ready for an event or to travel!

Item descriptionNo, the solution will not stain, but it can transfer. The solutions have cosmetic bronzers in them so you have instant color when you leave your appointment. These cosmetic bronzers can come off on the inside of your clothing or on your bedding if you choose to sleep in the spray tan. The bronzers will not stain your clothing or bedding, they simply wash out in the washing machine. Once you've had your first shower, you should not see any other spray tanning products coming off on your clothing.

1–2 days prior to your event is the best time to come in for a spray tan. It is always best to have one or two showers before your event to ensure you have completely washed the cosmetic bronzers off of your skin and that the tan has fully developed.

You can wear whatever makes you feel the most comfortable. Some clients will choose to go in the nude so there aren't any tan lines to worry about. Others will wear older undergarments or bikinis. Some will go topless with an older pair of underwear or swimsuit bottoms on. There are pasties available for clients that prefer to have those when tanning topless. My goal is to give you a flawless custom tan and make you feel completely comfortable while doing it!

The total process from the time you walk in the door until you leave is 20 minutes. You will feel slightly sticky for about the first 30 minutes after you tan until the solution is completely dry and absorbed into your skin. It’s a similar feeling to putting on clothing after you shower and lotion.

Unfortunately no, there is no SPF in the spray tan solution that we apply to your skin. You will still need to lather on the sunscreen! A waterproof sunscreen with SPF is recommended. What a spray tan will do for you, though, is make you feel confident and sexy when you put on those swimsuits and/or shorts and bare your skin. You will be totally vacation- and beach-ready with a Glow On Girl!

There's no doubt that swimming pools, hot tubs, and swimming in the ocean can take a toll on your spray tan. The best thing you can do to help maintain your tan is wear waterproof sunscreen and continuously reapply. This will help you get more longevity out of your spray tan and also help with a nice even fade.
